OOTD: the Summer of Tye Dye

COVID was and is a dark and uncertain time, but it also gave birth to some amazing things; more time at home with loved ones & pets, more homemade meals, more crafts, handiwork, and DIY home renovations. People learning independently and starting the brands they always wanted to.

And, as we all know, COVID was kinda defined by banana bread, Stanley Tucci’s cocktail recipes, and tye dye. There was a wave all over IG, twitter & FB, of people tye dye-ing items in their closet to give them a second life.

This sweet girl reached out to me on Insta, asking if I’d wear a tye dye sweater – of course I would. The brand is from Toronto – check them out @sew.cuteapparel.

outfit details: dad’s old Levi shorts

sewcuteapparel pullover sweater and matching ribbed socks

Ardene sneakers

Mejuri chain

I ended up wearing this sweater like.. almost every day.

I’ll end it with all the carbs I consumed that week end 💛
